On the way to Plitvice National Park..we started the journey from Zagreb that day ..just after having finished with our city tour of Zagreb....Plitvice is not very way from Zagreb approximately 132 km...1 hr 30 minutes drive from Zagreb....As per the road sign in the above photo Split is in Croatia, Bihac is in Bosnia (where we spent 2 nights). Plitvice National Park " is the oldest national park in Southeast Europe and the largest national park in Croatia. The national park was founded in 1949 and is situated in the mountainous karst area of central Croatia, at the border to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The important north-south road connection, which passes through the national park area, connects the Croatian inland with the Mediterranean coastal region. The protected area extends over 296,85 km²."

BOSNIA & CROATIA - PART 1
Oh ya.....the interesting part of Zagreb is that it is full of public parks almost at very corner...lush and green. I was in Zagreb in May...it was Spring ...flowers were blooming every where...
Santai...........
Few ladies of our group having photographed their moments in Zagreb...that tall girl standing in the middle was our tour guide namely Ms Rosa...she was very helpful & informative taking us around the city of Zagreb...visiting most of the historical monuments & places in the heart of old city of Zagreb..but unfortunately we had to walk....however it was worth walking!!!
part of Croatia Parliament Building ...
St Mark Church ...look at that colorful roof....fascinating...isn't it?
front view of the parliament house....it looks simple and down to earth comparing to any parliament houses which I saw in many oil-rich Arab Countries......stunning & wasting....
